Bishop Kiengei also revealed that he had prayed for Syokau’s ailing son, sharing a message of healing and redemption.
The dispute between the two escalated after Syokau insulted Bishop Kiengei in response to a light-hearted online remark he made about vlogger Pritty Vishy.
Addressing his congregation, the bishop emphasized that Syokau’s struggles—both in her music career and her personal life—are the result of her contentious interactions online, particularly with religious figures.
“We suffer because of our actions,” Bishop Kiengei told the church, cautioning that these actions can lead to generational repercussions.
“Justina, you have to change for this boy to meet his destiny. The more you fight people, the more they fight back, and sometimes, the arrows miss you but hit those you love.”
In his sermon, the bishop urged Syokau to refocus on the true calling of the gospel, implying that her ongoing conflicts were hindering her son’s path and her career progress.
“I have forgiven you,” Kiengei declared. “But take a new direction. If you don’t, your current path may shorten or block your destiny, and it’s affecting your son.”
Kiengei also shared that when Syokau’s son was brought to church for prayers, the boy was gravely ill.
“His eyes were pale, and his lips were cracked. But after we prayed for him, his condition improved significantly,” the bishop testified.
The moment of forgiveness and prayer underscored the importance of healing both personal and familial wounds, a message Bishop Kiengei hopes Syokau will embrace.
