He is 87 years old.

CAUSE OF DEATH: Motomu Kiyokawa is reportedly to have died after battling with pneumonia at 11:00AM. (Read More Here).

An Anime page on Twitter pays tribute to Motomu Kiyokawa: “We are ysad to learn of Motomu Kiyokawa’s passing. He starred in anime such as Neon Genesis Evangelion, Mobile Suit Gundam, Is The Order a Rabbit, and others. We will miss continuing to hear his voice in new projects, but we are happy with the roles he gave us. Rest In Peace.”

Kiyokawa was born in 1935. In 1957, he entered Haiyu-za Training School and joined Haikyo in 1968. While performing on stage, he also worked as a voice actor, playing a wide range of roles from the early days of anime to works directed by Hideaki Anno.
