Big Brother Titans: Organizers begin audition of Big Brother Nigeria/South African edition


  • Multichoice Group have announced the commencement of auditions for the next edition of the Big Brother franchise titled Big Brother Titans.
  • Organisers of the reality show, had earlier revealed that next year’s edition will introduce a a new dimension that would see Nigerian and South Africans living together as housemates.

The owners of BBNaija, Multichoice Group have announced the commencement of auditions for the next edition of the Big Brother franchise titled Big Brother Titans.

This comes just days after Big Brother Naija concluded its seventh season themed ‘Level Up’.

Organisers of the reality show, had earlier revealed that next year’s edition will introduce a a new dimension that would see Nigerian and South Africans living together as housemates.

Taking to its official Twitter page on Thursday, Big Brother Africa shared a video which explained how interested participants can audition.

It wrote; ‘‘One epic season! 🔥 Two heavyweights! 💪🏾 Nigeria 🇳🇬 and South Africa 🇿🇦Let’s go!!! Be part of the all-new NaijaXSouthy #BBTitans

“Owing to the success of Big Brother Mzansi and Big Brother Naija, MultiChoice will unveil a Big Brother show like no other: a ‘contest’ between housemates from Nigeria and South Africa – in one house,” Dr Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content said.

Also, Ceo of Multichoice Nigeria, John Ugbe who spoke at the MultiChoice Media Showcase event in Lagos on Thursday, September 15, 2022, described it as a special edition which is like a combination of Afrobeats and Amapiano.

He explained that they wish to explore the love-hate relationship between Nigeria and South Africa and the season 8 would be ‘explosive’.

Ugbe added that the reality TV, which will be the most exciting season, will be happening “sometime next year”.

Meanwhile, Josephina ‘Phyna’ Otabors won the 7th edition of Big Brother Naija reality TV show

She beat her rivals to clinch the N100 million prize.

Phyna and Bryann were the top two contestants in the grand finale.

Other finalists included Daniella, Chichi, Adekunle and Bella.
