Between Banky W & Wizkid, Who Made Each Other Popular & Rich? (See This)

Banky W opened up on the almost-scandalous way Wizkid exited Empire Mates Entertainment.

Nigerian music mogul Wizkid, has reacted after his former boss, Banky W in a recent interview revealed that he owed his former record label about three albums before leaving.

Recall that Banky W had talked about Wizkid and his contract situation during his time with Empire Mates Entertainment.

Banky was a guest on the #BlackBoxInterview Easter Special hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu where he revealed that he is incredibly happy to have had an impact of Wizkid’s career and till today, they still have a great relationship.

Banky then opened up on the almost-scandalous way Wizkid exited the music label as he said a lack of communication almost caused a war. He added that at the time Wizkid was beginning to envision a dream bigger than what the label might have had for him and Wizkid wanted to be in control of his own destiny.

A snippet of the video where he made this statement was shared on Twitter and the “Essence” crooner saw it and reacted to it. In a tweet, the singer writes a bold “LOL” in reactions and a frenzy is being stirred over his reaction.

MY THOUGHTS:
Wizkid is indirectly saying that Banky is lying or talking nonsense. LOL stands for Laugh Out Loud. He can’t possibly be laughing out loud if what his former Boss said is true.

And secondly, I think Banky is asking for much from Wizkid. He should let the young man be. He always brag about how he made Wizkid who he is today and all that, why haven’t he made another artiste since then?

It is obvious that Wizkid made Banky rich and famous. And ever since Wizzy left the EME, the label collapsed, Banky music career ended. What does that tell you.

My two cents sha.
