Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) ‘Shine Ya Eye’ season 6 winner,, Hazel Oyeze Onou, widely known as Whitemoney, has voiced his support for his in-house companion, Mercy Eke as she vies for a potential second win in the almost-concluded All-Star edition of the reality show.
Whitemoney’s endorsement comes despite the fact that Mercy previously clinched the title in the “Pepper Dem” season four edition of the show.
In a recent interview with media personality Hero Daniels, Whitemoney firmly defended Mercy’s position as a deserving contender for the winner’s title in the All-Star edition.
He expressed his belief that winning a previous season shouldn’t disqualify her from the possibility of securing victory once again.
Drawing an analogy from the world of sports, Whitemoney highlighted, “If you play a championship cup and win, you’d go home the next season and say don’t wanna play again? No! You have to keep winning.”
He argued that Mercy’s pursuit of a second victory was not only legitimate but would also enhance her profile, prestige, and the brand she is striving to build.
In Whitemoney’s words;
“If you play a championship cup and win, you’d go home the next season and say don’t wanna play again? No! You have to keep winning.
“Mercy does deserve to win. If she wins it, that’s good for her profile. It’s good for her prestige. It’s good for whatever she is trying to build. “So, if she wins it again that would be very nice. No cap.”
