Big Brother Naija two-time contestant, Mercy Eke, has revealed that there will be no ‘All Stars’ reunion as is the usual practice.
Mercy Eke made this known while having an Instagram live session, and informed fans not to expect a reunion from the season 8 which Ilebaye Odiniya won.
The reality TV star, however, did not disclose the reason organizer gave for reportedly cancelling the reunion which many have been looking forward to.
“Stop dreaming, there will be no ‘All Stars reunion,” Mercy Eke said.
This will be the first time organizers of Big Brother Naija will fail to hold a reunion with the former housemates that participated.
Meanwhile, Multichoice, organisers of the BBNaija) reality show opened auditions for the ninth season in March 2024.
It disclosed that the application for audition comes with a new format. The organisers said contestants of the upcoming 2024 edition will audition in pairs.
In a new twist, it was disclosed that auditioning pairs can be close friends, family members, romantic partners, or any combination that embodies a “dynamic duo”. The post reads:
“Exciting News! Biggie is back for #BBNaija Season 9 auditions with a twist! The audition requires 2 people. This year, its a search for Dynamic Duos that love the show and can turn up the heat in Biggie’s house!

”Contestants are encouraged to submit a three-minute video showcasing their personalities, strengths as a duo, and why they should be in the house for BBNaija Season 9.
