Baba Ijesha Cries Out For Help Over Deteriorating Health In Prison

Actor Olanrewaju James, also known as Baba Ijesha, has expressed his distress over his deteriorating health from his hospital bed in prison.
The disgraced actor, who was found guilty of rape in July, disclosed that since incarceration, he’s been suffering a terrible and potentially fatal illness, which had worsened his condition.

According to Baba Ijesha, he is no longer able to sleep or eat well, as the actor pleaded with Nigerians to spare his life because he doesn’t want to pass away, because he was being tortured over a crime he did not commit.

The actor went on to call on God to judge comedian, Princess who accused him of defiling her adopted daughter.

“I am battling a very serious and deadly ailment here in prison which is deteriorating my health. Please I need help. I don’t sleep or eat well anymore. I don’t want to die here. I am suffering for what I know nothing about. The Almighty God will judge Princess for lying against me that I used to deflower her daughter”.

This latest development comes days after the troubled actor requested post-conviction release from an Ikeja Domestic and Sexual Violence Court pending a hearing and decision on his appeal before the Lagos Division of the Court of Appeal.

Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo had already sentenced Baba Ijesha to 16 years in prison for child molesting in July.
