Aubrey O’Day defends Photoshopping fake vacation pics

Aubrey O’Day claims she Photoshopped herself into photos of destinations she didn’t actually visit because she wanted her profile to look like a “museum of ART.”

“I don’t need to be flown places. Let alone the fact that a lot of the shots I give y’all are in places you have to spend hours scaling mountains to get to,” the Danity Kane alum, 38, said on Instagram Sunday after a TikTok user went viral for pointing out the singer Photoshops herself into images from “other content creators” or “random promotional images.”

“Respect my aesthetic, I work hard to give y’all beautiful content that feels the way the places I travel vibrate.. because I want y’all to vibrate high with me.”

O’Day appeared to mock the criticism by sharing edited pictures of herself in a bikini hugging a Jesus-like figure in “heaven.”

“Took the PJ to Heaven in the last 24.. wanted to share with y’all how beautiful it was.. also ran into Jesus and we hugged it out,” she sarcastically quipped in the caption before making some lewd remarks about the TikTok user.

The “Damaged” singer said that the “lil bird on tiktok with SO much to say about my life” needs to “stop washing her p–y in the sink.”

“We are adults baby, you gotta run the whole thing through the water,” she added.

Later on in the lengthy caption, the “Showstopper” singer made an attempt to leave the “lil tok girl” with more patronizing advice, writing, “You don’t even need to concentrate on others to be your own version of special and necessary in this world..

“you can make positive changes just by using your own gifts.. stop looking left and right if you wanna move forward. 🤍”

Although it appears O’Day took some time and effort to come to her own defense by Photoshopping new images of herself in a heaven-like setting, she said she did not feel the “need” to explain herself because she’s been in the entertainment industry for “over 20 years” and has been traveling the world since she was 7 years old.

“If I want my Instagram to be curated like a museum of ART then that’s what the f–k is going to happen,” she added. “I’m an artist, a REAL creator.”

A fan praised the “Celebrity Apprentice” alum for her clapback, writing, “I always took your photos as art. That’s how you express yourself. And that’s how it should be. It’s your page. Do whatever the f you want with it!,” to which she replied with a hands up and heart emoji.

O’Day has been called out for deceiving the public before.

In August 2020, the “Famously Single” alum claimed unflattering paparazzi photos of her were “clickbait,” but a source exclusively told Page Six at the time that the images were only cropped and “not altered.”

O’Day’s lawyer maintained, however, “The person in the paparazzi photos is not the same person in the picture that Aubrey shared on Instagram, in that the photo has been altered in an unflattering manner …  While it appears that body shaming has become the norm, Aubrey will not tolerate it.”
