The Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, on Monday has appointed prominent party members to key positions for its 2023 election campaign team.
As campaigns are set to kick off on Wednesday, September 28, Atiku has appointed Bukola Saraki, as Special Envoy to the presidential candidate and Senator Pius Anyim, as Special Adviser.
Also appointed as Special Advisers are former governor of Kano State, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, former governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and Senator Ehigie Uzamere.
Former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Prince Uche Secondus, was also appointed as Technical Adviser to the presidential candidate. The appointments are to take immediate effect.

Even as Atiku’s tussle with Governor Nyesom Wike continues, the PDP presidential candidate has called on his appointees to put in their best to ensure victory in the forthcoming election.
