Atiku Abubakar sends special greetings and commendations to David Hundeyin as he described David as Nigeria’s best investigative Journalist at World Press Conference

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar will today address a press conference on the finding of his legal team over President Bola Tinubu’s academic records released by the Chicago State University.

The PUNCH reports that the university released the academic records of the President on Monday and the CSU Registrar, Carl Westberg, also carried out a deposition of the documents on Tuesday, in compliance with the ruling of Magistrate Jeffrey Gilbert.

Abubakar had approached the US District Court in Northern Illinois to compel the university to release Tinubu’s academic records, arguing that it would boost his suit challenging the President’s election in the February 25 presidential poll.

The PDP candidate had requested the documents for use in Nigerian courts to support his argument that Tinubu forged a certificate he claimed to have obtained from CSU in 1979 and submitted to Nigeria’s electoral body, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), for the 2023 presidential election.
