Award-winning Nigerian artist Ahmed Ololade, better known by his stage name Asake, has made a significant investment in his career by purchasing a 2023 G-Wagon.
The luxury SUV, which costs upwards of $179,000, is a testament to Asake‘s growing success in the music industry.
The purchase comes just weeks after Asake won two awards at the 16th annual Headies, Nigeria’s biggest music awards ceremony.
He took home the trophies for Album of the Year and Next Rated Artist, beating out some of the biggest names in Nigerian music, including Burna Boy, Omah Lay, and Davido.
Asake’s success is not just limited to the charts. He has also achieved commercial success, selling out the 20,000-seat O2 Arena in London in April 2023. This feat made him one of the few Nigerian artists to ever sell out the venue.
Asake’s purchase of the G-Wagon is a sign of his growing wealth and status in the Nigerian entertainment industry. It is also a reflection of the increasing affluence of African artists.
As African artists become more successful, they are able to afford to buy the finer things in life, such as luxury cars.
The G-Wagon is a popular choice among celebrities in Nigeria, and Asake is now the latest star to add one to his collection.
