Arsenal humiliate Chelsea 5-0, to boost title hopes

Chelsea will have a night to forget after Arsenal delivered a stunning performance at the Emirates Stadium, thrashing their rivals 5-0.

Leandro Trossard opened the flood gate for the Gunners, followed by a double each from Ben White and Kai Havertz in a second-half onslaught that left Chelsea reeling.

The win marked Arsenal’s 100th goal of the season, bringing them back into contention for the Premier League title race after recent setbacks.

Despite Mauricio Pochettino’s pre-match confidence, Chelsea faltered, finding themselves under the relentless pressure from Arsenal’s attack.

The manager’s choice of players at the defense line failed to yield maximum result, after dropping Trevor Chalobah and Thiago Silva in the starting lineup.

Arsenal dominated throughout the game, causing troubles for the Blues defense.

Havertz had no pity on his former club, with wild celebrations after his goals.

Although injury woes disrupted Chelsea’s lineup, they are left with a lot of work to do ahead of next season.
