The ruling of the Kano State Federal High Court, which removed Alex Otti from office as governor of Abia State, has been overturned by the Kano State Court of Appeal.
In a decision on Friday, the appeal court overturned the May 18 order of Kano State Federal High Court Judge M.N. Yunusa concerning Otti’s Labour Party (LP) nomination.
The high court reached a precipitous decision, according to the Appeal Court’s ruling.
Against the plaintiff, a cost of one million naira (N1,000,000) was also granted.
