- Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has debunked reports of being kicked out of her apartment in Lagos by her landlord due to unpaid rent for over two years.
- She claimed her people were already packing out of the house when the landlord arrived and tried painting a picture of him throwing her out.
Controversial movie star, Angela Okorie has broken her silence on reports of her eviction from her Lagos home over unpaid rent of more than 2 years.
Recall that a few days back, Instagram gossip blog, Cutie Julls broke the news while sharing some videos of Angela Okorie’s belongings allegedly being moved out of the house. It was further alleged that Angela’s ex-husband has been the one footing the rent bills but he stopped after they clashed.
In reaction to this, Angela Okorie went on a long rant on her Instagram stories as she debunked the claim.
The actress averred that she wasn’t around when the incident occurred, adding that her people were already packing out of the house when the landlord who according to her, teamed up with some of her rivals arrived and recorded some scenes in a bid to disgrace her.
She further asked how a landlord would permit a tenant to live in his house for over 2 years without paying rent. Angela Okorie also denied buying a house in Lekki, Lagos as Cutie Julls had previously alleged.
She wrote in part:
“Cutie juice or cutie pie As gray hair full ur pumpum You no still get sense, how dare you, The industry and unfriendly friends has really used you for a long time, I am coming for you big time, make sure you have proof of everything you are saying, did I ever tell you I bought the house am leaving in Lekki county, I have other houses i bought, I have never told you i bought the house what is wrong with people.
