Angel Unigwe, a teenage Nollywood actress, has broken her silence, receiving both admiration and condemnation after her older colleague, Kanayo O. Kanayo, accused her and her mother of unexpectedly causing trouble in his set.
Kanayo accused Unigwe of breach of contract in a social media post, as reported by GistLover.
Kanayo said that Mrs Juliet Unigwe, the young actress’s mother and manager, refused to allow her daughter to follow their agreement during a recent production.
He said that the youngster’s mother is “fond of botching productions” by taking her daughter off sets.
While many fans expected Angel Unigwe to respond to the uproar, she instead opted to promote her current movie on her profile.
Her message elicited a variety of responses, with her film mentor, Omoni Oboli, and another actress, Mercy Kenneth, voicing their support.
