Teen Nollywood actress Angel Unigwe has broken her silence, sparked both praise and criticism after her senior colleague, Kanayo O. Kanayo accused her and her mother of abruptly disrupting his set.

In a social media post reported by hitztv, Kanayo accused Unigwe of contract breach.

Kanayo said, Mrs Juliet Unigwe the mother and manager of the teen actress did not allow her daughter to honour their agreement during a recent production.

He alleged that the youngster’s mum is “fond of botching productions” by taking her daughter away from sets.

While many followers anticipated a response to the controversy, Angel Unigwe chose to promote her latest movie on her page instead.

Her post sparked various reactions, with her screen mentor, Omoni Oboli, and fellow actress, Mercy Kenneth, voicing their support.
