Nigerian activist, Aisha Yesufu has applauded American rapper, Cardi B after she threw a microphone at a fan during an outdoor set at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas on Saturday.
The Grammy winner, 30, became the latest musician to be targeted with items thrown at them while performing.
A video which surfaced online captured the moment Cardi B hurled a microphone with accuracy at a fan who threw water on her while she was performing.
The curvy American musician was seen in the video entertaining fans in a public show while on stage and flanked by her bodyguards.
One overzealous fan who was among the throng of cheering audience decided to act beyond boundaries.
The fan threw the content of the cup he was holding on the singer and this greatly vexed her and she hurled the microphone she was holding at his head.
Reacting to the video, Yesufu applauded the rapper for throwing the microphone.
She insisted that despite her support for the singer’s act, it would not stop her from acknowledging when she is wrong.
Speaking via her Twitter page, she wrote, “That drink could have been acid.
“I love the fact that she actually got the person who threw her that drink. Her aim is lit!
“Having said that, one’s like for a person’s behaviour or act should not stop one from acknowledging where a person is wronged.”
