Adanma Luke, the producer of the movie in which late actor Junior Pope and four others tragically lost their lives in the Anam River, has reportedly surrendered to the police.
According to SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the spokesperson of the command, Adanma Luke presented herself to the authorities on Thursday, April 11, and provided a statement regarding the unfortunate incident.
In an exclusive conversation with LIB, SP Tochukwu Ikenga confirmed Adanma’s voluntary surrender and statement writing.
Furthermore, the police spokesperson disclosed that two boat operators allegedly involved in the incident have been apprehended and are currently in police custody.
Additionally, it has been revealed that other members of the cast and crew of the movie will be summoned for questioning as part of the investigation process.
SP Tochukwu Ikenga went on to emphasize that no stone will be left unturned in the quest for justice and accountability regarding the tragic event.
