Veteran Nollywood actor Anayo Modestus Onyekwere, widely recognized as Kanayo O. Kanayo, has offered valuable advice to young Nigerians, particularly those belonging to the Generation Z demographic.

In a humorous video that has gained traction on social media, the actor voiced his concerns regarding certain behavioral traits commonly observed among Gen Z individuals, particularly in their interactions with older generations.

He encouraged them to cultivate diplomatic skills and apply these in their relationships with older family members.

Kanayo emphasized the importance for young people to learn how to effectively articulate their requests to older relatives, such as uncles, in order to secure the necessary support or approval.

”You know this Gen Z generation, they never cease to baffle me. You’re going to your uncle to sponsor your project, say you’re a musician and your uncle says what’s the title of your song, you now say…” He then begins to perform the renowned lyrics from an exhilarating fusion of Afrobeat and hip-hop by Chella Boi, entitled ‘Nyash Na Nyash.’

”You think your uncle would sponsor such a song/ Gen Z, you guys must born again,” The actor humorously remarked.
