“Act fast” – Lady shares update on where half bag of rice is being sold for N10k

A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to inform and guide fellow citizens on where they can buy a half bag of rice for the affordable price of just N10k.

Amidst reports of increasing food scarcity and economic challenges, the lady posted a message on her Twitter page, extending a helping hand to her fellow citizens.

In her tweet on February 23, 2024, she updated Nigerians on an initiative by the Nigeria Customs Service, offering half a bag of foreign rice for just N10,000.

The kind-hearted lady specified that the distribution is taking place at the Customs office, and the targeted areas for those interested include Bariga, Onike, Iwaya, Yaba, and the surroundings of the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

The conditions for participation include a payment of N10,000 and the presentation of the National Identification Number (NIN).

In her words;

“If you know anyone staying around Bariga, Onike, Iwaya, Yaba, UNILAG.

Customs office is sharing half a bag of rice for 10,000 (foreign rice).

The requirement is your 10,000 and NIN. Make your way there if you can afford it.

Please repost to get to those in need that can afford it.”
