The tragic end of the flamboyant Abuja Area Mama has sent shockwaves through the nation, as the popular crossdresser was reportedly discovered lifeless along the desolate Katampe Mabuchi expressway in the FCT in the early hours of August 8.
His body, drenched in blood and dressed in the very same black gown with white petals that he proudly flaunted in a video just hours before his untimely death, paints a chilling picture of a life snuffed out far too soon.
Area Mama, who never shied away from expressing his true self, became an emblem of boldness in a society where conformity often reigns.
But on that fateful Wednesday, August 8, the same black dress that symbolized his fearless defiance turned into a macabre shroud.
His followers, still reeling from the video he posted just the evening before, were thrown into a whirlwind of disbelief and sorrow as they learned that the very garment he wore with such confidence would become the last outfit of his life.

According to Linda Ikeji Blog, the spokesperson for the FCT command, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed the horrific discovery.
Adeh revealed that despite efforts to save him, Area Mama was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Adeh said;
‘’It is true. We received a distress call of a dead body lying of an unknown lady found at Katampe Mabuchi expressway. It was when the police arrived at the scene that we discovered that it was a man in full female attire with blood all over his face”
The image of his blood-soaked body lying along the expressway has ignited a firestorm of grief and anger on social media, as his fans and the LGBTQ+ community grapple with the brutal reality of his demise.
