Aaron Judge Is Maintaining A Record Pace

New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge is sure letting the world know how much he is worth.

He is currently on pace to pulverize his personal-best in home runs; the 52 he hit in his rookie year (2017).

In Wednesday’s loss against the Seattle Mariners, Judge knocked his 45th ball of the year out of the park, comfortably leading MLB.

Not only that, but he is also hitting over .300 and already has 99 RBI.

With his current pace, he could also break the Yankees’ franchise record for most home runs in a single season, held by Roger Maris.

He did that in 1961.

Judge Is Determined To Shatter Home Run Records

The free-agent-to-be outfielder has already made himself a lot of money with his season performance: breaking Maris’ record, or hitting his current pace (65) would mean the Yankees, or any other team interested in his services, would have to pay him big bucks to sign him to a long-term contract.

Is Barry Bonds’ record of 73 home runs in a single season within reach?

It seems highly unlikely, but he is determined to make history in 2022.

Judge is slashing .304/.396/.681 with the 45 blasts, 94 runs, 99 RBI, and even 11 steals while playing good defense both in right field and center field.

He is en route to his first MVP award if he can hold off Shohei Ohtani in the voting process.

The next few weeks will determine if Judge can make franchise history.

He is well on his way to do that.
