Nigerian midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, has revealed one major advantage the Super Eagles have over Tunisia ahead of both teams’ 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, Round of 16 tie on Sunday night.
Ndidi insisted that playing in Garoua is an advantage for the Super Eagles over Tunisia because they already have many supporters in the city.
Recall that Nigeria played their group stage matches against Egypt, Sudan and Guinea-Bissau in Garoua.
Nigeria head to the game after winning all their matches in the group stage, while Tunisia won 1 and lost two.
Speaking during his pre-match press conference on Saturday, the Leicester City star said
“Playing in Garoua is an advantage for us, we have many supporters here and we need that.”
He added, “There are no preferred players in the team. The coach decides who plays and we all have the same target.”
