Former Tottenham Hotspur star, Jamie Redknapp, has predicted Liverpool to beat Manchester City in today’s Premier League tie.
Liverpool will, on Sunday evening, host Manchester City at Anfield in a Premier League clash.
Jurgen Klopp’s side head to the game after thrashing FC Porto 5-1 in the Champions League, while Man City lost 2-0 against PSG.
Liverpool are currently in the second position on the Premier League table, while Pep Guardiola’s side are in the sixth position.
“This is one of those games where, from Liverpool’s point of view, having that confidence boost of those goals,” Redknapp said on Essential Football Podcast.
“From City’s point of view, they have had two really tough games. I think Pep might have to shuffle his pack.
“The sharpness probably won’t be there, even if they would have got a point against PSG. I have a feeling Liverpool will win this game. I think there will be confidence running through their veins of the team.”
The kick-off time for the Liverpool vs Man City game is 4.30 pm.
