Manchester City sign 19-year-old Vitor Reis until 2029

Manchester City have officially announced the signing of Brazilian defender Vitor Reis from Palmeiras.

The 19-year-old has inked a four-and-a-half-year contract with the Premier League champions, with the transfer fee reportedly around £29.4 million to £30 million (or €35 million).

This move marks Reis as one of the most promising young defenders globally, with expectations that he can contribute both immediately and into the future under Pep Guardiola’s management.

Reis expressed his excitement about joining Manchester City, stating his ambition to achieve more trophies with the club and the unique opportunity to develop under Guardiola.
