In other news, Nigerian singer Skales claimed that his colleague and former record label mate, Wizkid, never liked him.

He claimed that he has always felt repelling energy from the ‘Starboy.’

Speaking in a recent episode of the ‘Listen’ podcast, the ‘Shake Body’ crooner recounted his social media fallout with Wizkid years ago.

It would be recalled that the two had blasted each other on the micro blogging platform, Twitter, now X in 2015.

The feud had started when, during a question and answer with fans on X, a netizen asked when he and Wizkid would release a song together. Skales had said, at the time, that Wizkid was too busy for him.

Clarifying his statement in the recent interview, Skales who claims to be Burna Boy’s inspiration said his comments about Wizkid was meant as a joke but his colleague had misinterpreted it.
