Now three years into their union, the dynamic Kenyan pastor revealed that they’re still trying to settle on a permanent place to call home.
Natasha, who leads the Empowerment Christian Church in Nairobi, is based in Kenya, while her husband, whom she met on Instagram, lives in Canada.
The couple, despite their geographical divide, regularly make an effort to be together, with one flying out to meet the other whenever possible.
However, Natasha says they’re still navigating where they’ll eventually settle down permanently.
“My husband lives in Canada, I live in Kenya, but we always go back and forth to see each other. He comes to Kenya as often as he can, and sometimes we meet up when we have preaching engagements together. We’re just into our third year of marriage and are still trying to decide whether we’ll settle fully in Kenya or Canada,” she explained.
Despite the distance, Natasha is confident they’ve found ways to make their marriage work. She believes that success in long-distance relationships comes down to strong communication, commitment, and compromise.
“Long-distance relationships can work if both partners are able to communicate effectively, remain committed, and be willing to compromise. You have to face challenges like different time zones and the reality of not seeing each other often, but with effort, it’s possible,” she shared.
