In a recent TikTok live session, Musila opened up about the negativity she encounters on social media, with detractors often calling her old and questioning why she chose to marry a man close in age to her own children.
Musila, a mother of three, addressed the comments head-on, showcasing her pride and confidence.
“Mimi ni mzee lakini I am fine… Fine girl… All those who are always out there insulting me, why didn’t my husband see you? Why didn’t he marry you when you were so young and beautiful?” she remarked, demonstrating her resolve and sense of humor.
Reflecting on her experiences, Musila expressed surprise at the hostility she has faced since marrying Guardian Angel.
“Until I married Guardian, I didn’t know how toxic this world can be out here. That people can be so jealous of you and your life, for what? Why do people insult others? Just why?” She remarked.
Despite the naysayers, Musila stands firm, proud of her age and the joy she has found with Guardian Angel.
“These people who call me old, will they not grow old? Are they immune? They hate me because they can’t have what I have,” she said confidently.
Musila’s current happiness contrasts with her past experiences. In a previous interview, she revealed that she didn’t find fulfillment in her first marriage, which she entered at a young age.
“I enjoy being a wife now, unlike what I experienced in my first marriage,” she shared.
“Perhaps in my first marriage, I got married at a young age and therefore did not have the opportunity to fully enjoy the role of a wife. It was more about other people then.”
Now, Musila credits Guardian Angel for helping her rediscover the joy of marriage and says she feels more empowered and appreciated.
