Atalanta have proudly hailed Ademola Lookman for his 14th-place finish in the 2024 Ballon d’Or rankings, marking him as the only African nominated this year.
In a post on X, Atalanta expressed their pride, saying, “14th place for Mola: proud of you Ade.”
The 27-year-old forward has enjoyed an outstanding season, excelling both for Atalanta and the Nigerian national team.
Lookman played a vital role in Nigeria’s impressive run to second place in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, where he scored three goals across seven matches.
Additionally, Lookman was instrumental in Atalanta’s UEFA Europa League success, netting all three goals in their final against Bayer Leverkusen.
