The couple, affectionately known as DoubleKay, had entered the house under a unified management team.
However, when the housemates were unpaired by Biggie and required to compete individually, Kellyrae’s management chose to support him, leading to controversy.
In a post-eviction interview, Kassia expressed her understanding of the management’s choice, stating it was the best decision under the circumstances.
Nonetheless, she acknowledged that her family was unhappy with the outcome, feeling it was unfair that Kellyrae received more backing in the competition.
During a recent interview with Naija FM in Lagos, Kellyrae responded to the situation, defending the management’s decision.
When asked about Kassia’s family’s dissatisfaction, the host said: “Kassia said her family isn’t happy about your management’s decision to back you to progress on the show ahead of her.”
In response, Kellyrae said: “Yeah, they are not happy. But they should understand that she is now married.”
Kellyrae and Kassia reportedly dated for ten years before tying the knot eight months ago.
