In other news, music executive Paulo Okoye declared that Kizz Daniel is the only Nigerian artiste who can challenge Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy.
In a chat with broadcaster Ifedayo Olarinde, aka Daddy Freeze, Paulo, as he is popularly known, stated that Burna Boy is currently “unmatched” in the Nigerian music industry but can be challenged by his colleague, Kizz Daniel if the latter works on himself.
Despite the comparisons between Burna Boy, and Davido and Wizkid, the show promoter insisted that it is Kizz Daniel who stands a chance against him. In Paulo Okoye’s words:
“Kizz Daniel is the only person that I know that can challenge Burna Boy if he puts himself together. I worked with him two years ago. And I know how much he makes. Kizz Daniel made at least $7.5 million from my side. I don’t even know how much he makes from others,”
Paulo claimed that Burna Boy is by far the richest Nigerian artist, stressing that he made at least between $70m and $80m last year alone.
