Barcelona remain determined in their pursuit of Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams, but they are also exploring other options to strengthen the wings in Hansi Flick’s squad. A new potential target has emerged, one familiar to their new manager.
If Barcelona fails to secure Nico Williams, they may consider Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman, who has been offered to the Catalan club by his agents. According to Kerry Hau of Sky Germany, Coman’s representatives are seeking a new club for the French winger, who doesn’t seem to be in the plans of Bayern’s new manager, Vincent Kompany.
Despite the interest, Barcelona’s financial constraints mean they won’t be able to sign and register any new players unless they sell a key member of the first team. Bayern Munich has made it clear that Coman does not fit into Kompany’s plans, and if Barcelona can’t sign him this summer, the German club might look to sell him to his former team, Paris Saint-Germain.
