Barcelona confirmed the signing of the forward player on its official website on Friday, August 9, 2024. According to the club, they have placed £500 million as the possible buy-out clause for the midfielder.
Dani Omo returns to Barcelona after an absence of a decade away from the club, the striker arrived at La Masia in 2007 from Espanyol. He has been exceptional for the four seasons that he spent in the Bundesliga where he won the German Cup twice and a German Super Cup in which he scored a hat-trick in a 3-0 win away at Bayern Munich.

This arrival of Olmo is Barcelona’s first official signing of the summer transfer window. The midfielder can play in a range of positions, including either wing and the No. 10 role.
