The truth behind drug abuse speculations

  • Months after whispers of Jaruma’s entanglement with drug addiction shook the internet, the NDLEA has finally spoken on her harrowing ordeal
  • In a bold move, the agency has launched a platform where Jaruma is expected to strip away the facade and reveal the raw, unfiltered truth of her struggle.
  • The online world is buzzing with anticipation as she prepares to lay it all out, no holds barred, turn her darkest chapters into a public spectacle.

Jaruma, the notorious self-proclaimed sex therapist who has never shied away from controversy, is set to break her silence on a shocking chapter of her life—her battle with substance abuse.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), recently, announced that she will be baring her soul on their X space, pulling back the curtain on her darkest moments.

In 2023, rumors swirled like wildfire that the entrepreneur was secretly undergoing rehabilitation after a distressing video of her looking visibly worn out and frazzled circulated online.

Tosin Silverdam, the ever-watchful blogger, added fuel to the fire by alleging that Jaruma had been whisked away to Abuja for intense rehabilitation due to substance abuse.

NDLEA has confirmed what many suspected but few dared to speak aloud. In a flyer shared on X, the agency revealed that Jaruma will be opening up about her struggles, not just as a cautionary tale, but to shed light on the harrowing dangers of drug abuse and the suffocating stigma that comes with it.

The sex therapist is stepping into the spotlight on the NDLEA’s X space on August 9 around 3pm, where she’ll speak her truth, unfiltered and unapologetic.

You may have heard different stories about Jaruma before but the story of her struggle with substance abuse and stigma is one you won’t want to miss hearing from her directly,” the post reads

“She defies the odds to tell her story to encourage others as we discuss the issue of drug dependence and the fear of stigmatization in recovery on our X Space conversation tomorrow. Join us then and invite others.”
