Sergio Ramos to leave boyhood club Sevilla after brief stint

Veteran defender Sergio Ramos will leave Sevilla this summer, concluding his short-lived return to his boyhood club.

The 37-year-old will re-enter the market as a free agent, with many speculating that his next move could be outside Europe.

Recall Ramos rejoined Sevilla last summer, marking his return after 18 years, mostly spent at Real Madrid and later at Paris Saint-Germain.

During his stint, Ramos played a crucial role in Sevilla’s defensive lineup , helping the team avoid relegation and scoring seven goals in 34 appearances.

Despite speculation about his future, retirement is not on the cards for Ramos.
