Kate Henshaw replies to critics over her message to fathers

Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw addresses critics who took issue with her message honoring fathers on Father’s Day.

To commemorate global Father’s Day, the esteemed actress shared a heartfelt message on the microblogging platform X, extending her wishes to fathers worldwide along with a Bible verse.

She conveyed her wishes for a joyous Father’s Day to all responsible fathers, offering prayers for God’s strength, favor, and blessings upon them.

In her words: “The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice, and he who sires a wise child will have joy in him.
Proverbs 23:24 AMP. Happy Father’s Day to all the responsible fathers here. God’s strength, favour, and blessings will continue to abound. 🙏🏽”

However, her message drew criticism from numerous online users, who pointed out her previous post on Mother’s Day. They noted her use of the term “responsible” in the Father’s Day message, which was absent from her Mother’s Day message, sparking debate and discussion.

Replying to trolls, the actress wrote: “I dey go chop ram meat… You will be alright or better still, never be. Name calling no dey shake me…👅”
