Award-Winning Nigerian artist Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, fifteen years ago, revealed in a post that if Don Jazzy had been his father, his life would have been much better.
Wizkid, the “Essence” crooner, confirmed this in an old tweet discovered by internet users.
This comes days after Wizkid sparked outrage online when he referred to Mavin Records owner Don Jazzy as an inspiration after 20 years in the music industry.
This shade from Wizkid comes after Don Jazzy’s signee rapper Ladipoe mocks Wizkid’s infamous 2022 comments about rap being dead.
In the 2009 tweet that resurfaced online, Wizkid who is still struggling in the murky water of the Nigerian music industry said that his life would have been a better one if Don Jazzy was his biological father.
Wizkid tweeted; “Imagine say Don Jazzy an my papa?, I just dey imagine oh, lolzzz, life for better o, lmao.”
