Paris Saint-Germain thrashed FC Lorient 4-1 to move within reach for their twelfth Ligue 1 title, pending AS Monaco’s result against Lille OSC.
Facing a Lorient side struggling in the relegation zone, PSG appeared in control from the very beginning.
The breakthrough came when 17-year-old Senny Mayulu set up Ousmane Dembélé, who calmly slotted home to give PSG the lead.
Kylian Mbappé doubled the visitors advantage with a backheel finish.
Dembélé grabbed his second, courtesy of Mbappé’s assist, before Lorient’s Bamba Dieng pulled one back.
Despite Lorient’s efforts, Mbappé scored his second, sealing the win in the dying minute.
