Boat driver claims Junior Pope refused life jacket before incident

A Nigerian man alleged to be the boat driver of the boat in which actor Junior Pope drowned claims the actor refused to hire a life jacket when he was told to, while also revealing the late actor’s last words.

This is contained in a fresh video captioned: “The guy that was driving the boat finally speaks out.”

In the said video, the young man could be heard speaking with passion or anger as he shares his side of the story and what Junior Pope said before his death, and also about the life jacket.

He was asked by one of those in the room why the crew on the boat was not wearing life jackets, and immediately, he responded.

Boat driver: “Then tell them to wear life jackets; Junior Pope said he didn’t have money. He said the producer should provide money for hiring life jackets.”

The said boat driver made several other statements in the video while adding that Junior Pope failed to make videos.
