The couple announced the news with a unique video shoot. In the video they shared online, they posed with newspapers, with the title “The Baby News; A baby is on the way.”
Below the title was a photo of an ultrasound accompanied by the words, “Baby coming soon.”
“We can’t wait to meet you soon,” the newspaper further read.
The couple were all smiles as they further flaunted the ultrasound. One could also not miss the view of a heavily pregnant Paula.
“Am having a baby with my baby with my baby. From two to three,” she excitedly captioned the video.
Mario on the other hand deactivated everything on his Instagram account, leaving the pregnancy reveal video to stand out.
“Adding a new member to our squad! Soon Inshaalah. Proud of you Malkia @therealpaulakajjala. Mungu akubariki wewe na familia,” he said.
The announcement however comes after Paula and her mother Fridah Kajala refuted pregnancy claims multiple times.
Kajala, early last month, denied claims that Paula had already delivered. Paula was spotted with a baby and many were convinced that she had already delivered.
“Aliyewaambia Paula amepata mtoto nani nyinyi. Nani anasema Paula ana mimba?” she questioned the interviewers .“Mdogo wangu wa mwisho alijifungua. Sijui watu wa Instagram huwa wankuwa aje. Kitu wanaezakawa wako nacho halafu baadaye wakalivuja ukiona unahisi ni cha leo lakini zile video ni za zamani sana na yule ni mtoto wa mdogo wangu.”
Rumours about Paula’s pregnancy first emerged in July 2023 when Marioo hinted that they were expecting while wishing her a happy birthday.
“Happy birthday my love, my everything, mama Kija. Nakupenda sana,” the dear ex singer wrote on Instagram.
