The author, Dr. Olakunle Soriyan, boldly asserts that it indicates poverty if a person is never late for anything.

In an honest bunch podcast episode, he expressed this viewpoint with Nedu, the host.

According to him, there are instances when it becomes inevitable for someone who is successful and has momentum in life to be late to an occasion.

On the other hand, it indicates you have nothing else to do if you live a life devoid of missed deadlines, punctuality, and on-time arrivals.

When asked if in the scenario the person made effort to be on time, would is still connote poverty, he replied in the affirmative that as someone who is wealthy, there are things beyond one’s control.
