Manchester United’s rising star Alejandro Garnacho is set to make his first start for Argentina against Costa Rica on Wednesday, March 27.
According to Fabrizio Romano, coach Lionel Scaloni has made the decision to give Garnacho an opportunity ahead of the Copa América tournament.
The 19-year-old made his debut for the Argentine national team on June 15, 2023, and has since earned four caps, but has yet to start in any match.
Garnacho’s big chance comes in the international friendly against Costa Rica, where he will look to prove a point.
