Many people had anticipated that the popular singer would give her two kids another sibling ever since her second child, a boy, came of age.
The award-winning singer revealed that she is the newest aunt in town a few hours ago by posting pictures of herself with a newborn child on her Instagram page.
The mother of two said, “My name is Omawumi, and it truly fits me,” as she thanked her Creator for her new blessings.
She let womb watchers know that she is the newest aunt in town by sending them a note.
She wrote, holding the child, in the photo’s caption:
“See what The Lord Has Done!!!
My name fits me
(Awon womb watchers I’m the latest Aunt in town)”.
While many fans congratulated her on her new blessings in the comment section, one fan stylishly questioned whether the mother of two wouldn’t have more kids.
Identified as Asatta Music and commented on how motherly the singer looked with the child.
She penned:
“But big sis, this thing fits you too much. See as you carry the pikin for arm”.
In response, Omawumi declared that she had long since given up on having children and that she was done having children.
Omawumi said:
“My wife, I don hang coat o! If e like make e fit me die”.
In a customary wedding held in her hometown of Warri, Delta State, Omawumi married her beau, Tosin Yusuf. The couple has a son and a daughter as children.
In an interview, Omawumi stated that, although she was unsure of what influenced her husband’s decision to lead her down the aisle, being a baby mama was her choice prior to him making that choice.
With confidence, she said that she had enjoyed her four years as a baby mama and had no plans to get married until they were ready. To her astonishment, though, her husband proposed to her and they were married.
In addition to emphasizing that no one has the right to question a woman’s decision to have a kid outside of marriage, the artist said that having a child should be a result of love.
