In less than seven weeks to the January transfer window, Chelsea are reportedly exploring moves for Brentford’s Ivan Toney.
The player who is valued at £100 million, is currently serving an eight-month betting ban, which expires by January.
Aside Chelsea, Arsenal are also in the race for the striker. Toney’s impressive performances for Brentford have not gone unnoticed, even with his long spell on the sideline.
Chelsea who are currently with Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson, is hoping to be more competitive with Toney’s addition.
The January market is often a crucial period for clubs looking to strengthen their squads or address specific areas of need.
