Yoruba movie star Omowunmi Ajiboye vehemently denied rumours of a romantic relationship with Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).
The actress clarified her stance following social media discussions that emerged after her mother’s funeral, where some accused her of not giving due respect to her estranged husband, Segun Ogungbe.
Ajiboye, in her Instagram post, emphasized her hard work, independence, and dedication to her career.
She expressed her discontent with the perception that her success is linked to MC Oluomo, asserting that she has achieved her accomplishments through her own efforts.
The actress adamantly stated that there was no romantic involvement between her and MC Oluomo, either before or during her mother’s funeral.
She further expressed her frustration at being consistently linked romantically to him, asserting that such associations undermine her hard work and independence.
In her words;
“Everything I have done single handedly is always tagged to him and somehow robs me of my hard work. I have been quiet for a long time but I’m boldly saying that I don’t have any romantic relationship with him and this does not cancel the fact that he has been a good person to me.
“I am Omowunmi Ajiboye, I will never be bullied into silence. Let God judge me if I lie, but If this is really my truth, may God bless me more, amen.”
