The Supreme Court has denied Senator Smart Adeyemi’s appeal against the lower courts’ ruling on the Kogi State governorship primary held by the All Progressives Congress.
Adeyemi had requested that the APC’s primary poll, which resulted in Usman Ododo being the party’s nominee for the next state gubernatorial election, be declared void by the courts.
In a ruling on Monday, Justice Emmanuel Agim of the court further mandated that N1 million be given to the first and third respondents in the case.
