President Bola Tinubu made some changes to the management of communication agencies, including NIPOST, last week, according to the presidential spokesman, Chief Ajuri Ngelale.
However, there were reports that Adepoju, the sacked post general- manager, had been reinstated shortly after the news of Tola Odeyemi’s appointment went public.
In a widely shared video, the fired Adepoju was heard telling some employees that President Tinubu had reinstated him. A situation that greatly confused NIPOST
Tola Odeyemi, the newly appointed NIPOST CEO, was refused entry on Monday by the protesting employees, who claimed that she had been appointed against their wishes.
The employees, who claimed to prefer Adepoju, sang songs of unity and brandished a variety of signs to express their disapproval of the new appointment.
