Landlord forces out female tenant for keeping trash in her room for a year (Video)

A landlord in China was forced to evict a female tenant who had resided in his property for a full year, as she had refused to dispose of her trash.

The disturbing sight of heaps of garbage, rotting away in the confined space, was captured in a video that has since gone viral, earning it the title “a landlord’s worst nightmare.”

The harrowing discovery came to light after a concerned neighbor alerted the landlord to the unbearable foul smell emanating from the rented house.

The neighbor’s distress over the situation prompted them to share the grim visuals online, sparking a wave of reactions from netizens across the country.

Despite the unsanitary conditions and the rapidly deteriorating state of the apartment, the tenant displayed an astonishing indifference to the situation.

Even as a professional cleaning lady was dispatched to restore the unit to habitable conditions, the tenant reportedly remained seated in the midst of the rubbish, engrossed in her phone.

The landlord, who had refrained from inspecting the property due to the tenant’s consistent and timely rent payments, was taken aback by the extent of the negligence.

He later revealed that he had chosen to overlook the state of the apartment because of the tenant’s punctual financial obligations.

The arduous task of cleaning up the putrid mess fell upon the shoulders of the cleaning lady, who invested an incredible five hours in the painstaking endeavor.

The transformation was nothing short of miraculous, as the apartment was eventually restored to its previous, livable state.

With the residence finally free from the clutches of accumulating refuse, the landlord issued the tenant a stern ultimatum.

While acknowledging her history of timely rent payments, he allowed her a few days to secure alternative accommodation and vacate the premises.
