“If I were a bad person, I would’ve used my powers to disappear”

A self-proclaimed fetish priest in Ghana, who was arrested during a building demolition process in the Nima district, has boasted about his extraordinary spiritual powers, asserting that he possesses the ability to vanish at will.

The priest’s claims have generated intrigue and garnered attention from both the public and the media.

The incident unfolded when the authorities initiated a demolition of a building in the Nima area of Accra.

As they proceeded with the demolition, the fetish priest, whose identity remains undisclosed, was summoned to the scene to intervene and halt the process through his spiritual powers.

The authorities, however, deemed his intervention as obstruction of government duties and subsequently arrested him.

Upon his arrest, the priest was taken into custody by the Ghanaian police. However, he was soon released with a warning not to interfere in such matters again.

Following his release, a journalist engaged in a conversation with the priest to understand his perspective on the incident.

During the interview, the priest boldly asserted that he possesses the ability to disappear at will, but he consciously chose not to exercise this power during the arrest.

He further claimed that had he been a “bad person,” he could have vanished instantly when the police arrived to take him away.

The post reads;

“A fetish priest who got arrested at Nima after he was called upon to halt a demolition exercise says he has the power to vanish selectively as he reveals that were he to be a bad person, he would have disappeared immediately.”
