“No bra, no class – Nigerian university lecturer threatens to expel ‘braless’ female students from his class

George Umeh, a lecturer at Alex Ekwueme University, Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo (AE-FUNAI), Ebonyi State, expressed his intention to expel any female student attending his class without wearing a bra.

He wrote;

“Braless my foot. Try that nonsense and come to my class and see if I wont chase you out. Nonsense.”

Umeh’s post, which was made on Saturday, July 29, garnered mixed reactions from his followers.

While some individuals applauded him for addressing what they perceive as indecent dressing on campus, others vehemently opposed his stance, stating that he has no right to discriminate against students based on their attire.
